Eric Love – Head Varsity Baseball Coach | Skill Development Specialist

Eric Love is a seasoned educator and coach with a lifelong passion for developing athletes both on and off the field. He currently serves as the Head Varsity Baseball Coach and Physical Education & Health Teacher at Archer High School, where he brings leadership, dedication, and a wealth of experience to his student-athletes. With an overall high school coaching record of 84-67, Coach Love has built a reputation for excellence, player development, and competitive success.

His coaching journey spans over two decades, including roles as a graduate assistant at Albany State University and 15 years as the head coach of the 15U Diablos travel baseball team. For the past six years, he has led high school baseball programs, instilling strong fundamentals and a championship mindset. In addition to his team coaching roles, Eric has been actively involved in organizing and running youth baseball camps since he was 17, helping hundreds of players elevate their game during the summer months.

A decorated player himself, Eric starred at Dunwoody High School, earning All-County, All-State, and Braves .400 Club honors. His collegiate career included stints at Georgia Perimeter College, Morris Brown College, and Albany State University. While at Albany State, he earned All-Independent Team recognition, All-SIAC Conference honors, contributed to two SIAC championships, and was named to the SIAC All-Tournament Team and Tournament MVP.

Specializing in the fundamentals of baseball, Coach Love is committed to helping players sharpen their skills in all aspects of the game—from hitting and fielding to mental preparation and situational awareness. Whether through private lessons or summer camps, his focus is always on providing high-level instruction, individualized feedback, and a positive, growth-oriented environment.
